Up Nearly 12 Percent for Q1, TCI’s Top Contributors Were GE, Safran and Airbus

The Children's Investment Fund (TCI)'s Class H shares returned 11.7% for the first quarter and 2,434.1% since inception for an annualized return of 17.3%. As of mid-April, the fund was off 2.5% for the month and up 8.9% year to date.

For comparison, the MSCI World Net Total Return gained 8.9% for the first quarter and 387.8% since the inception of TCI's Class H shares for an annualized return of 8.1%. The MSCI World was down 4% for April as of the middle of the month, resulting in a year-to-date return of 4.5% through mid-April.
