Lansdowne Partners was founded in 1998 with the aim of managing capital for sophisticated and high-end investors. The inception of the European equity fund came in 2022, and since then, it has been managed by Daniel Avigad.
The primary goal of the fund is to invest in undervalued companies or those with significant potential for a value upturn. The portfolio consists of 20 to 30 positions in mid- and large-cap companies. The company uses fundamental research of industry cycles to generate alpha while minimizing risk.
