Now let's fast-forward to Russo's letter for the fourth quarter and all of 2023. Semper Vic returned 18.7% for 2023 and 8.7% for the fourth quarter, versus 16.2% and 13.1% for the Dow Jones Industrial Average and 26.3% and 11.7% for the S&P 500, respectively.  The MSCI All Country World Index gained 22.8% in 2023 and 11.2% in the fourth quarter.
