Cooper Creek Partners is a 14 year old hedge fund specialized in the small and midcap equity market with the aim of delivering non-correlated returns.

Their primary strategy is the long/short equity strategy focused on the under-researched, less efficient North American SMID-cap market. The fund utilizes value investing principles and places bets on companies with a chance for a transformative change. The company was founded and is managed by Rob Schwartz.

In their latest quarterly letter, which Hedge Fund Alpha got a chance to analyze, the fund discussed its performance, top contributors, and the decisions that the Fed made. Currently, the fund manages $2.66 billion, of which $1.94 billion is in hedged products.
