Robert Karr is a renowned name in the investment industry going back to his early days and work in Tiger Management. As a protegee of Julian Robertson he is known as a Tiger Cub, which is the breeding ground for successful hedge fund managers.

In 1996 he founded Joho Capital which is focused on concentrated investments in well-known and established companies. The company’s approach is to have a small number of investments with the aim of delivering returns over the long-term horizon. Karr is also known as an investor in the Asian equity market.
