Half Moon Capital Details New Sports Stock Short; Gains On Reddit Bet [Q3 24 Letter]

Half Moon Capital returned 4.4% net for the third quarter, including a gross return of 8.5% from its long book and a -9.1% return from its short holdings. Eight of the fund's long positions generated returns in excess of 10%, while just one declined more than 10%.

As of the end of the third quarter, Half Moon's top long holdings were: Tyler Technologies, with a 15.1% position size, ExlService Holdings (10.8%), Dropbox (8.9%), GMS (8.7%), Oceaneering International (8.6%), Jacobs Solutions (7.8%), CoStar Group (7.2%), Lyft (7.1%), Daktronics (6.5%), and LSI Industries (5.5%).
