According to the newest chart analysis by Goldman Sachs fundamental long/short strategy fund performance is in June at +0.3% month to date. At the same time year to date, performance reached 7.7%.
These results are primarily driven by beta, while alpha is marginally in the negative. This comes after a six-month trend of positive alpha. Long/short performances are up in all regions, while Asia, and especially China is leading the charge. Systematic long/short performances are up +2.5% MTD, amassing +15.8% YTD.
