Corsair Capital Returns Flat For Q2 As Stocks Buck History

Corsair Capital Management released its Q2 2018 letter to investors this week. The firm's funds were essentially flat for the quarter, with Corsair Capital returning a gain of 0.1% and Corsair Select declining 0.1%. For comparison, the HFRI hedge fund index posted a second-quarter gain of 0.8%, while the S&P 500 gained 3.4%.

Year to date, Corsair Capital is down 2.7% net, while Corsair Select is down 4.5% net. The HFRI hedge fund index is up 1.2% year to date, while the S&P is up 2.7%.
