Druckenmiller At Grant’s Conference: Fed Making Major Policy Changes So Close To Elections Is A Mistake

Before he founded Duquesne Capital Management, Druckenmiller (71), worked for George Soros. Despite closing off his fund to outside inventors back in 2010 he is still persistent in managing his fortune. He pointed out that he finds business intellectually stimulating.

Druckenmiller spoke at a recent high profile investment conference in New York on October 1st 2024. Druckenmiller started off his exposition at the 2024 Grant's Annual Fall Conference opining that the Federal Reserve has taken a reckless monetary gamble with overtly reflationary policies. Unhinged monetary policy is changing the odds for a fabled, soft landing, and pushing for a landing that is closer to current market pricing.
