Christopher Hohn’s Foundation Filed its Final U.S. Return with Ex-Wife Jamie Cooper’s Charity as Successor

British billionaire hedge fund manager Sir Christopher Anthony Hohn founded the value-based hedge fund The Children’s Investment Fund Management (TCI) in 2003. Most of the profits went to his foundation, the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation. However, while it's still operating globally, the foundation filed its final U.S. return for the 2022 fiscal year, using the DBA (doing business as) name “Big Win Philanthropy.”

In fact, that DBA happens to be the name of the charity founded by Hohn’s ex-wife, and it was originally added to the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation’s (CIFF) 990-PF in 2016.
