Liongate Capital Management To Close Hedge Funds After Poor Returns

After 12 years, Liongate Capital Management announced they will be shutting down their hedge funds, which they have already begun tallying up and distributing cash back to clients.  Liongate Capital Management’s flagship fund was the Liongate Muilti-Strategy Fund, but also had the Liongate Select Fund and an enhanced (200% exposure) version of their multi-strategy fund.  Around its peak, Liongate managed around $4 billion, but poor bets and outflows have seen assets under management decline to under $500 million.
