Presidential politics is soon to dominate dinner tables.  With presidential politics on its way in, it's impossible to miss the politics surrounding poverty.

Both major political parties care deeply (or at least pretend to care) about the poor.  They simply disagree vehemently about how to deal with the issue.

Some politicians focus on economic growth, eliminating regulations, and encouraging individual initiative.  Others point their attention towards income redistribution and expanding education.  The plans for dealing with poverty, of course, don't end with just these broad summaries.
