Perhaps the most hotly debated topic in taxes over the past couple of years is Kansas' aggressive move to reduce the income and corporate income tax burden.

On Thursday, the Census Bureau released its most recent accounting of state government revenues across all state governments.

The newly released data provides us new data points to inspect whether Sam Brownback's tax cuts have had the intended effect.
