I knew a “Chas,” or Charles, in high school who reminds me of “Chase” Coleman. Chas started out playing Stratego as a child, but it was too one dimensional a game. Next he upgraded to the board game Risk, but didn’t like the role luck played in how the dice landed. Then, perhaps like the thirty something hedge fund manager “Chase” Colmen, Chas began to master the game of chess.
