Income inequality in hedge fund land is alive and well.

Hedge fund compensation overall rose by 12 percent in 2014, the annual 2015 Hedge Fund Compensation Report revealed, but within that significant outperformance of the general economy there were pockets of resistance.

The average cash compensation for hedge fund professionals in 2014 was $368,000 per year, up from $330,000 last year.
