As Greece faces early elections, as their parliament was unable to elect a president, establishment concerns over the populist Syriza party could be amplified as the political party’s 40-point program to solve Greece’s debt crisis is released.

Called by some “a chicken in every pot plan,” Syriza’s promises have been likened to writing checks that can’t be cashed and making promises that are not realistic.  Much of what the plan calls for is increasing spending, reducing its already agreed upon debt payments and floating more debt.
