Balyasny Asset Management isn't your standard long-only hedge fund drone. CIO Dmitry Balyasny likes to go short when the market warrants it and he seems to “get it” in regards to algorithmic probability concepts such as mean reversion, supply and demand momentum and various market environments. Balyasny combines this knowledge with strong fundamental macro considerations, which dominate his investment decision making process.
