TheStreet.com engaged in a “roast” of “the prematurely gray” activist hedge fund manager Bill Ackman, and snarky jokes ensued, all in front of an audience of financial journalists and industry participants Friday evening at the “Financial Follies” in New York.

The coloring of Bill Ackman’s hair, who has stated he is in the best tennis shape of his life, was a theme throughout the roast.  “What’s with the prematurely gray hair?” questioned “Tim Cook,” played by Jonathan Marino. “You can afford to lose half a billion dollars on J C Penney Company Inc (NYSE:JCP) but can’t afford a to buy $5 bottle of Grecian formula?"
