You can expect to see more lightening and wild fires as a result of global warming, says new research published in Science Magazine.

Lightning strikes could increase by 50%

In fact, the number of lightning strikes could increase by 50 percent. "For every two lightning strikes in 2000, there will be three lightning strikes in 2100," said David Romps, at the University of California, Berkeley, who worked on the study.
