After turning in -1.1 percent performance on the quarter, Lakewood Capital’s Anthony T. Bozza notes periods of volatility have historically presented the fund with its best opportunities.
In a letter to investors dated October 24 reviewed by ValueWalk, Bozza noted that in recent weeks, investor anxiety reached levels “not seen for quite a while.” Most annoying, this caused many individual stocks to sell off rather quickly – and this occurred in the absence of any clear, fundamental changes.
