Google getting in fund management business

Recent talk that Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) (NASDAQ:GOOG) may get into the fund management business was heightened by a recent Financial Times article that revealed the tech giant retained a well-known financial services research firm to determine how to enter the asset management business.  The report said this was a hot topic of conversation and the “biggest fear” among large hedge fund managers.
