High school students in Colorado are protesting a history censorship effort that encourages the removal of information about civil disorder.

While the core founding of the U.S. was based on civil disorder and questioning authority, high school administrators at the Jefferson Country School Board, near Golden Colorado, are currently implementing a proposal to revise how history is taught.  Part of the review of advanced placement history classes says that lesson “materials should not encourage or condone civil disorder, social strife or disregard of the law."
