Munger Defends Buffett on Tax Inversions, Hammers Banks

Anyone who thinks Burger King Worldwide Inc (NYSE:BKW)’s deal with Canada’s Tim Hortons Inc. (NYSE:THI) (TSE:THI) is “a great injustice is stark raving mad,” according to Charles Munger, the blunt-talking vice chairman of Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (NYSE:BRK.A) (NYSE:BRK.B) and a business partner with Warren Buffett.  Separately, Buffett also conferred with U.S. Senator Orrin Hatch on tax policy regarding the Burger King deal “well before” it was consummated, according to a Bloomberg Report.
