Goldman Sachs Twitter Parody Account Gets Major Book Deal

The Twitter parody account @GSelevator, which purports to detail conversations that take place on the Goldman Sachs elevators, now has a major book deal.

According to a report from Financial Time’s Tracy Alloway, the book, to be published by Simon and Schuster, is titled Straight to Hell: True Tales of Deviance and Excess in the World of Investment Banking.

Exposure of investment banking culture

Scheduled for an October, 2014 release, the book is going to be “the definitive exposure of investment banking culture, shedding new light on a world that is far more abhorrent, and yet, way more entertaining than people can imagine,” according to the report.
