Private Equity Funds See Highest Fundraising In 5 Years

Private equity funds witnessed their highest half year fundraising levels for almost five years, with over $218 billion raised during the first half of 2013.

Preqin, in its recent report titled "The 2013 Preqin Private Equity Fund Terms Advisor," also points out the past year witnessed the announcement of a number of regulatory changes affecting the private equity industry.
