The L1 Capital Global Opportunities Fund gained 5.1% for the third quarter, bringing its one-year return to 30.3%. Its net return since inception stands at an impressive 27.7% per annum.

In the Australian hedge fund’s third-quarter note to investors, which was obtained by Hedge Fund Alpha, the team noted that stocks have soared since the middle of April. However, they believe expectations of more accommodative monetary policy around the globe are behind the rally rather than strong earnings numbers.
