Speaking at the Invest For Kids 2025 conference, David Tykocinski, Co-Chief Investment Officer of the Public funds at Maverick Capital, presented an analytical perspective on the structural growth of Artificial Intelligence (AI) investment and its necessary infrastructure. Tykocinski’s core thesis is that AI infrastructure spending is self-funded and represents a fundamental transformation, not a speculative bubble, leading to an identifiable shift in supply chain bottlenecks that currently favor foundational semiconductor capital equipment providers, specifically highlighting a long position in one key tech company.
