Quantum computing – enormous national security issues. Computing more generally.
Even without quantum, AI is on track as compute keeps increasing. If I look out to 2030, even w/o computing or other breakthroughs, AI is on track in many areas. AI feels on track to get most things. Could there be breakthroughs that happen in different fashion that happen faster? Sure, and there are some black-swan possibilities.
Without any black swans, it’s on the exponential (AI), and a black swan is pretty likely eventually.
Data, Legal & Model Sorting
Role of data in AI development. It’s the wild west right now. Do you see models sorting themselves out in coming years? We’re at the Robinhood phase – music is an example.
