Cadira Capital Management Posts +2.54% in July, Lagging TOPIX’s +3.17% Benchmark Gain

Cadira Capital Management disclosed a +2.54% gain in July, underperforming the TOPIX Total Return index, which generated +3.17%. Behind funds underperformance were two factors - stock selection and sector allocation.

While the company was founded in 2022, the fund dates to October 2023. It was conceived by Yu Shimicu, aiming for a strategy towards Japanese equities.

Currently, the portfolio holds 53 holdings, with an annual turnover of 25.23%. In the monthly commentary section, the manager discussed the market environment and its impact on portfolio performance. One section was reserved for assessing individual holding performance, pointing out the main contributors and detractors.
