Many well-known investors and company founders donate millions of dollars to charity every year, and some of them do so through their foundations. Amazon founder Jeffrey P. Bezos is listed as a director for the Bezos Family Foundation, although he was not listed as a top contributor in 2021.
According to its 990 for fiscal 2021, which was filed in November 2022, the Bezos Family Foundation of Seattle, Washington had $130.7 million at the end of that year. We can get an idea for which asset managers Jeff Bezos (or his financial advisors) trusts the most by looking at where the foundation invests its money.
