Lee Ainslie’s Maverick Expects The Post-Stimulus Era To Be Attractive For Their Approach [Exclusive]

Lee Ainslie's Maverick Capital reported an "underwhelming" fourth quarter compared to the soaring stock markets, but the fund also enjoyed "a strong year." Ainslie noted that the S&P 500 jumped 11% during the fourth quarter, bringing its full-year return to 29%. He added that the equity markets doubled between the trough in March 2020 and the end of 2021.

Although Ainslie has written almost all parts of the 124 letters issued by the fund over the years, he said Riad Abrahams, Ben Silver and David Tykocinski wrote significant portions of his 2021 letter, which was obtained by ValueWalk.
