Many hedge fund managers and other well-known names in the financial industry engage in philanthropy, and Goldman Sachs is no different. Of course, investment income plays a significant role in the foundations of major players in the financial industry. According to the 990-PF for the fiscal year that ended in December 2019, which was filed in June 2021, the Goldman Sachs Foundation entrusted its money to several private equity funds.
