It's no secret that ESG (environmental, social, governance) factors have become more important in investing. Fund managers are increasingly incorporating ESG factors into their portfolio allocations. However, those that don't are in danger of being left behind as investors increasingly avoid allocating with funds that don't incorporate ESG into their allocations.

Investors Increasingly Demand ESG

According to a new survey from EY, 20% of investors said they chose not to invest with a fund manager because they felt their ESG policies were inadequate. Another 19% asked their fund managers to improve their ESG policies, while 61% didn't take any action.
