Partners Group invests in Pepper Food Services subsidiary

Partners Group made three new direct investments and completed two new primary commitments during the month of August. The net asset value for the fund's Class I increased 2.5%, while its Class A rose 2.4%. The fund reached $6.2 billion in size in August.

During August, J. Star No. 4-C called capital to fund the acquisition of JP Co., which was previously called Pepper Lunch and is a subsidiary of Pepper Food Services. The acquisition was paid for through all common shares.

Pepper Food Services is a Japanese "fast-steak" restaurant franchise with more than 500 locations in Japan and 16 other countries....
