The average hedge fund lost 6.9% in the first quarter, according to the HFRX Global Hedge Fund Index, but some well-known funds have reported much deeper losses.
Mohnish Pabrai falls into this bucket. His flagship investment fund dropped 34% during the first three months of 2020, underperforming the Dow Jones Industrial Average and S&P 500 by 11% and 14.1%, respectively.
