Warren Buffett has said in the past that his greatest ever investment mistake was buying Berkshire Hathaway.

In a 2010 interview with Becky Quick on CNBC, Warren Buffett noted buying Berkshire was such a colossal mistake, it cost him upwards of $200 billion in lost profits. Nearly a decade after this interview, I'm sure the total opportunity cost has increased further still.
