Paul Tudor Jones ValueWalkThe longer the current bull market lasts, the more often we hear concerns about similarities between the current market environment and past periods of turbulence. In a letter sent to investors in June, part of which was reviewed by ValueWalk, Paul Tudor Jones compared the current situation involving share repurchases to the environment of 2006 and 2007—right before the financial crisis.

He also warned that the current trade war threatens to pull the economy into a period similar to the Great Depression.
