Today, Benjamin Graham is widely considered to be the Godfather of value investing. Graham built his reputation as a teacher. He taught a whole generation of value investors who later went on to transform the investment world. His most famous student is Warren Buffett, who has since picked up Graham's batton and inspired many more investors all around the world.

What's fascinating about Graham's advice is the fact that it is still relevant even today. When he started teaching in the first half of the last century, the financial world was a completely different place to the market we see today. Financial information was not widely available and investing was still a preserve of the rich.
