Even though performance figures are only just starting to emerge, it is becoming clear that 2018 was one of the worst years for hedge fund performance since the financial crisis.

A few days ago hedge fund data provider Eurekahedge published its hedge fund performance update for November.

According to the report, hedge fund industry assets under management declined 3.4% for the first 11 months of 2018, the worst performance for the hedge fund industry in the first 11 months of the year since the financial crisis.
