As I covered in the last part of this series, David Abrams is the best hedge fund manager you've never heard of. Having trained under Seth Klarman at Baupost in the 1980's, in the early 1990s, he left to set up his own enterprise, Abrams Capital.

The rest, as they say, is history. Since setting up his business, it is reported that the Klarman-cub has he achieved analyzed returns of around 15% for his investors after deducting fees.

However, despite his impressive track record and billionaire status, Abrams is fiercely secretive. He rarely gives interviews and trying to find information on his funds is extremely difficult.
