With the HSBC Hedge Weekly reporting US-focused long / short hedge funds were up an uninspiring 0.27% on the year, a female fund manager appears to be bucking the trend. Samantha Greenberg’s Margate Capital is up 3.27% in the third quarter alone, positive by 8.36% on the year, the New York-based hedge fund told investors in a letter reviewed by ValueWalk.
