Kevin Byun's Denali Investors earned itself a stellar reputation as one of the best hedge funds around in the years after the financial crisis.

Unfortunately, this performance peaked  around 2014. The firm achieved a return of 19.4% for 2014 as a whole, which was a standout performance compared to the rest of the industry, but came in below the 66% Byun achieved for 2013.
