Gator Financial, the financial-focused hedge fund managed by Derek S. Pilecki, produced yet another strong performance for investors during 2017. According to the firm's full-year 2017 letter dated April 3rd 2018, a copy of which has been reviewed by ValueWalk, Gator Financial produced a total return for investors of 17.98% during 2017, compared to a gain for the S&P 1500 Financials Index of 20.92%.
