The digitization of China has occurred faster than in any other nation around the world, and the country is leading the world in continued investment in the tech sector.

According to a research paper from McKinsey published in August, China is in the top three in the world for venture-capital investment in crucial types of digital technology, including virtual reality, autonomous vehicles, 3-D printing, robotics, drones, and artificial intelligence (AI). Meanwhile, the country is the largest in the world when it comes to e-commerce accounting for more than 40% of the value of global e-commerce transactions.
