In a political system where people are increasingly intolerant of opposing viewpoints, Ray Dalio’s “Principles” offer a diametrically different path forward. In a book of the same title released September 19, Dalio advocates for an “idea meritocracy” that involves “ radical transparency ” in looking at and searching for opposing viewpoints to assist in decision-making.
