Warren Buffett a biotech investor?

Warren Buffett has never been associated with venture capital investor, or biotech investing. However, during 1988, when Buffett’s public profile was starting to take off, an early-stage biotech company invited him to join the board of directors and lend his name to the shareholder roster by investing in the company which, at the time, had yet to start selling a single treatment.
