After a relatively bad performance during 2016, Kerrisdale Capital produced a positive return of 4.3% for its investors during the first quarter of 2017. According to the firm’s first quarter letter, a copy of which has been reviewed by ValueWalk, Kerrisdale gained 4.3% net during the first half, underperforming the S&P 500’s return of 6.1% but outperforming the Barclay Hedge Fund Index’s return of 3%.
