In what appears to be a surprising reversal of sentiment, investors are flocking back to Europe equities this year seemingly betting on the region’s improving economic outlook while shunning highly priced equities across the pond.
According to fund flows from data provider EPFR, European stock managers received $1.5 billion in the week to March 29, the largest weekly addition in more than a year. Additionally, inflows to emerging market stock funds continued with flows hitting $10 billion for the year in the week to March 29.
