After the tech unicorn (tech start-ups with a valuation of $1 billion or more) fad of 2014 and 2015, it’s starting to look as if the second half of 2016 has ushered in a more cautious approach to tech start-up valuations. Fintech is one area in particular that appears to have suffered.
