PS4 Pro vs. PS4 Slim: Which Is The Right One For You?

Sony’s PS4 Pro is due for release on Nov. 10 and will sell alongside the existing PS4 Slim during the holiday season.

Unveiled in early September, the new game console has been called a “mid-generational product,” as it comes ahead of the next-generation PS5. Such a release is seen as a bid to close the traditionally long gap between hardware upgrades; for example, the PS3 got an upgrade after seven long years. The PS4 Pro bridges such a long interval and brings 4K, for example, to the market sooner, besides handing developers of virtual reality games more juice by way of improved hardware.
